The Pontiac Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony yesterday at the new location of Unity Cosmetology.

Owners Phyllis Sippel and Teresa Ciulla were excited to show off the facility during the open house that followed the ceremony.

Sippel said, “We’re hoping to be able to put together a massage therapy program and a barbering program, and the space allows that to happen.”

Ciulla added, “Initially, the building being so beautiful, they just feel like this facility is so much nicer. Anyone that comes in really appreciates all of the hard work that has gone into this building by a lot of different people.”
