The Livingston County War Museum-Dal Estes Education Center was honored by a group of people from Luxembourg Monday.

Richard Whitmar, vice president of the museum board, has more.

“We had a bus load of about 25 people from Luxembourg. They wanted to present us with a book in two or three languages, thanking us for liberating their country from Germany in 1945. Which, we (sitting there) had nothing to do with (directly), but they appreciate what happened seventy years ago,” Whitmar said.

Whitmar will be a guest on an upcoming Community Forum where he will detail the experience.
