Two arrested for drug possession

Two Chicago men were arrested in South Streator August 3 after the discovery of several illegal drugs.

According to a press release from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department, an investigation led police to the arrest of Brandon Armour and Damone Chandler on charges of delivery of a controlled substance of more than a gram but less than 15 grams. During the investigation, officers seized 2.3 grams of cocaine and three grams of cannabis. More than $1,800 dollars and a 2014 Nissan Maxima were also seized.

Agencies involved included the Livingston County proactive unit and patrol and the Streator Police patrol.

The investigation is ongoing.
