Pontiac District 90 Board of Education met Monday evening and emerged with positive news.

Superintendent Jon Kilgore has more.

“We presented a balanced budget with a small surplus. Right now, the tentative budget that we presented is the best information that we have and is on display for the next 30 days. On September 12 there will be a budget hearing to officially adopt a budget, approve a budget and submit it,” Kilgore said.

The district office is located at 1100 East Indiana Avenue in Pontiac.
