A sixteen year old junior from Pontiac Township High School is making a big move to Thailand this weekend as a part of a one-year trip for the Rotary Youth Exchange Program.

Kamryn Moore spoke to the Pontiac Rotary Club Tuesday and described her experiences leading up to her trip.

“I think because Thailand is so different and I’ve heard such good things from exchange students from America that have gone there and come back. They say it was the absolute most amazing country they’ve ever been to. Everyone agrees with everyone and minds their own business and do their own thing and I think that’s so different from here. I think, only being sixteen, I think it’s amazing I get to go there and experience all this and come back so much more cultured and experienced and a better person all together,” Moore said.
