So, I am not a frequent flyer by any means, but when I do travel by air, I allow myself one purchase! And that would be a water bottle, since TSA confiscates mine. But some people actually do “shop” at the airport!  CNN just released the results of a study on the most common things we buy at airports, and the top FIVE are all different sizes of bottled water . . . specifically Coca-Cola’s two brands of bottled water, Dasani and Smartwater. 20-ounce bottles of Coke, Diet Coke, and Coke Zero also made the top 10.  The most popular things that aren’t drinks owned by Coke are Peanut M&Ms and the “Wall Street Journal”. The most popular magazines are:  “US Weekly”, “In Touch”, “The Economist”, “Life & Style”, and “Star”. The most popular book is “Bossypants” by Tina Fey . . . the most popular snack besides Peanut M&Ms is Lay’s potato chips . . . and the most popular toiletry item is a small package of Kleenex.
