At the Morris cross country invitational, Nate Durham led Pontiac with an 8th place finish while Sarah Christopher was 47th on the girls side.
Bloomington won a boys golf triangular over Streator and Pontiac.

The Cards square off again tonight an hour earlier, Seth Lugo against Adam Wainwright on the mound, 5:20 Cards network pre-game on AM 1230 WJBC.
The Cubs completed a sweep of the Padres with a 6-3 win. Willson Contreras homered and Ben Zobrist drove in a pair of runs. The Cubs are off tonight before visiting the Dodgers tomorrow.
The White Sox fell to the Phillies 5-3 as James Shields suffered his career-high 16th loss. The Sox open a four-game series against the Mariners with Anthony Ranaudo making his third Sox start.
Before the game, the Sox announced US Cellular Field will now be known as Guaranteed Rate Field as of November 1.
Albert Pujols moved into 10th place on the all-time home run list past Mark McGwire with his 584th long ball in an 8-2 Angels win at Toronto.
U.S. Soccer has suspended goalkeeper Hope Solo six months for calling Sweden “cowards” after they eliminated USA from the Olympic tournament. Solo is appealing.
