The Illinois Ag in the Classroom and Livingston County’s Ag Literacy Partnership Project are teaming up for the Get a Grant Workshop, happening Wednesday, September 7, from 4 to 6.

Debbie Ruff, ag literacy coordinator for the Livingston County Soil and Water Conservation District, has more details.

“We are offering this Get a Grant Workshop through Illinois Ag in the Classroom, because each fall, they offer grants specifically for teachers. This year, they have upped the amounts available and they have two different kinds of grants. They’re trying to assist the teachers because they know everyone is swamped with work. But they’re also trying to get more agriculture information into the schools,” Ruff said.
