The Livingston County Humane Society will be holding an adopt-a-thon this weekend during the 12th annual Wabash Festival in Forrest.
Director Karen Gregory had some details of the event.
“We’re going to have dogs, cats and kittens. We will also have our dog jackets and sweaters at very reasonable prices on sale to help us make a little more money. The Casey’s store itself is sponsoring a Cutest Pet Picture contest. The top three prizes are large pizzas of the winner’s choice and they will also be grilling hot dogs for sale and all the proceeds will be going to us,” Gregory said.
