This could be a sign that age and wisdom bring happiness . . . or that you REALLY have zero sense of perspective when you’re young. It’s probably a little of both. A new study found the older you are, the HAPPIER you are. I agree with this one for the most part, maybe because we just have a much truer appreciation of what happiness is or that time is running out! The researchers found you’re the most stressed out and miserable in your 20s and 30s. But as you get older, your levels of happiness, life satisfaction, and well being all go up. Why does that happen? The researchers think it’s because you spend your 20s and 30s dealing with peer pressure and worrying about what other people think of you. Once you’re finally old enough to graduate from all that and you learn to brush off the little stressful things in life, it just makes everything easier and you become happier.
