WJEZ is joining forces with the Bank of Pontiac and the Livingston County Public Health Department to bring you a free flu clinic Thursday, October 20.

WJEZ’s very own Cat is here to tell you more.

“Why do we feel the need to put on a flu clinic? Well, because it’s not always easy for people to get to one. So, we’re going to do it right here at the station at 315 N. Mill Street, from 8:30 to 9:30 October 20, and we invite everyone to come. Essentially it’s free, because most insurance companies cover the cost of a flu shot. All you have to do is bring your insurance card, get your flu shot and you’re going to walk out of here with a smiley face cookie, courtesy of Pfaff’s Bakery, because Richard says, ‘If you get a flu shot, you should get a smile for the day,’” said Cat.
