The third annual Trick or Trunk is happening tonight from 6 to 8 at the Caterpillar parking lot on 1300 4-H Park Road in Pontiac.

Lori Potter, administrative assistant for Streator Onized Credit Union, describes the event.

“Everyone that is associated is going to participate, as far as the businesses. I’ll use the credit union as an example. The employees decorate the trunks of their cars and stand there and pass out the candy to all the little goblins. You can dress up and we encourage the people who are doing it out of their trunk to dress up and the kids love it,” Potter said.

Children ages 12 and younger can dress in costume for the event, sponsored by SOCU, Midwest Dental, Livingston County Sheriff’s Department, Caterpillar and Andy Ferguson.
