OSF Saint James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center recently received an A grade from national patient safety watchdog group, The Leapfrog Group.
The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Guide uses 30 measures of publicly available hospital safety data to assign grades to more than 2,600 hospitals twice per year. St. James was one of only 844 hospitals receiving an A grade this fall.
According to a press release from OSF, Brad Solberg, president of OSF Saint James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center, said this grade reflects their commitment and enthusiasm for improving patient safety every day at OSF Saint James.
