Illinois State basketball cruised to victory in its one lone exhibition game, 84-62, over Division II Quincy. MiKyle McIntosh led ISU with 21 points. The Redbirds open the season Friday at Murray State.

Illinois State’s Jake Kolbe has been named the Missouri Valley Football Conference Offensive Player of the Week after his first four-touchdown pass performance in the Redbirds win at Western Illinois on Saturday.

The redbirds have won their 6th Missouri valley conference title in women’s soccer with a 2-1 win over Evansville. The redbirds set a school record with a 14-game unbeaten streak. The Redbirds find out this afternoon where they will play in the NCAA Tournament.
