One arrested after gun incident in rural Chenoa

A rural Chenoa man was arrested Saturday morning after an incident involving a handgun.

According to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Police, officers responded to a rural Chenoa address in Livingston County to assist in an eviction at that location. Deputies were met with a subject, armed with a handgun. The suspect was later located at a remote area of the wooded residential property and taken into custody with charges pending.

Assisting the sheriff’s police included Chenoa and Pontiac police, McLean County Sheriff’s Police, Pontiac Police tactical response unit and the sheriff’s police investigations.
