Voter turnout consistently high in Livingston County

Voter turnout in Livingston County for the 2016 general election is keeping on par with past elections.

Livingston County Clerk Kristy Masching broke down the statistics.

“Voter turnout for Livingston County was a little less than 70 percent. It was at 68.88 percent. We have 22,570 registered voters and there were 15,546 people who showed up to vote either on Election Day or early or vote by mail in Livingston County for this election. In 2008, we had a 66 percent turnout and in 2012, it was 70 percent,” Masching said.
