In girls basketball, Prairie Central bested Morris. It was Flanagan-Cornell-Woodland over Fieldcrest. Ridgeview beat Dee-Mack and Lexington downed Peoria heights.

Normal Community and U-High won in the opening night of the Intercity Girls Basketball Tournament at Bloomington.
