Congressman Adam Kinzinger is collecting holiday cards for Veterans through December 8.

Kinzinger, a Veteran himself, said this was important for multiple reasons.

“Number one, showing the appreciation for Veterans is extremely important around the holidays, but also, as Americans, remembering, around the holidays, how important the service of Veterans is to our country. So, by having folks bring letters and cards or mail them to the office, we’re hoping we can show our appreciation to our Veterans, and show our unwavering support for them,” Kinzinger said.

Cards can be mailed or dropped off at the Ottawa office at 628 Columbus Street, Suite 507, so Kinzinger can deliver them to the Illinois Veterans Home in LaSalle on Monday, December 12.
