The United Way of Livingston County is now $10,000 closer to hitting its goal, thanks to a donation from two local businesses.
Executive Director Deb Howard said the organization is very thankful for getting this check the day after Thanksgiving.
“Have we got something to be thankful for. We (the Unite Way board) were out at the Graymont Co-op the day after Thanksgiving to collect a wonderful check from Graymont Co-op and Co Bank. That check was for $10,000 and we have a lot to be thankful for this holiday season,” Howard said.
