The restoration effort for the only remaining structure in Pontiac known to have been visited by Abraham Lincoln just got a boost from Enbridge and the union division of Matrix Service Company Wednesday.

Cheryl Harvey, public affairs for Enbridge Energy, has more.

“Enbridge was excited about participating in the renovation of the Strevell House because we have employees at the Flanagan Terminal who not only work at the Flanagan Terminal, but they have families who live and are raising families in this community, so we want to invest in the community, because a healthy community means a healthy business for us,” Harvey said. “We were very privileged to be a part of this renovation and we are going to continue to work with this renovation until it is completed.”

The Strevell House is located at the corner of Oak and Livingston streets in Pontiac.
