The Livingston County Historical Society is hosting Thomas Edison – America’s Inventor Thursday for their annual December holiday dinner meeting at the Eagle Performing Arts and Conference Center.
President Bob Sear talks about JR Lindsey of Chicago, former teacher at Pontiac Township High School, who will be presenting the evening’s program as Thomas Edison.
“So he dresses and acts and talks as if he’s Thomas Edison. He behaves like he’s Thomas Edison, and he also has a Power Point presentation to show some of the inventions and things he’s done, so it’s not just him talking but it’s also slides of things Thomas Edison has done. He stays in character the whole time. He’s really good,” Sear said.
Tickets are $30 each for the dinner at the theatre, which is catered by Bernardi’s II. To reserve your tickets, contact Sear by calling 842-2744.
