The Livingston County Humane Society is holding a super adopt-a-thon Saturday from 11 to 2 at the shelter.

Karen Gregory described the event.

“We will have extra volunteers out there and we hope to adopt a lot of animals out. We will be out there until 2 but if we need to be out there later, we will be. It’s not a problem at all,” Gregory said.

The shelter is located at 21179 N 1358 East Road, north of Pontiac.
