More new driving laws for 2017

sheriffs-department-sized

There are hundreds of new laws for 2017, many that focus on what drivers need to know.

Livingston County Sheriff Tony Childress stopped by to discuss several of those laws, including one that sometimes people don’t think about.

“House Bill 6010 – the offense of vehicular endangerment, includes striking a motor vehicle by causing an object to fall from an overpass in the direction of a moving vehicle with the intent of striking the motor vehicle while it is traveling upon a highway in this state. We’ve all known about kids who like to go up on top of overpasses over the interstate and play games, and I think sometimes they don’t realize the magnitude of the game of which they’re playing,” Childress said.
