IHR in Pontiac offers several services, and mediation is one of the many on that list.

Executive Director Joe Vaughan describes what mediation services are.

“For mediation services at IHR, what that entails is custody mediation. So, if you have two parents who can’t agree on what we call a parenting agreement. They come in and I will work with them to come to a resolution. What it basically means is bringing two people together to formulate a plan to find a structured type of schedule in how they’re going to joint parent. That’s the ultimate objective is to get both parents on board to where they’re both making decisions equally for the kids so they can finish out raising them,” Vaughan said.
