In girls high school buckets from Thursday night, U-High pulled past Pontiac 50-32, Dwight earned a big win over state-ranked Iroquois West 50-42, Heyworth defeated El Paso-Gridley 47-30, Fieldcrest slipped past Tremont 50-43, Prairie Central topped Olympia 36-29 and Flanagan-Cornell-Woodland hammered Blue Ridge 61-29.

The Illinois Wesleyan men and women are off this weekend, and the Illinois State men are at Evansville Sunday afternoon at 3:00.

The University of North Dakota is entering the Missouri Valley Football Conference in 2020. University presidents in the conference approved UND’s entry. The Fighting Hawks are leaving the Big Sky Conference after next school year and will play in The Summit League in all other sports.
