Illinois softball hosts Minnesota today at 5:00 while Illinois baseball welcomes Indiana State to Illinois Field at 6:00.
Illinois State baseball begins a weekend Missouri Valley Conference series at Dallas Baptist University today. The series schedule has been shifted to a 3:00 doubleheader today and a single game at 2:00 on Saturday due to a wet forecast later in the weekend in the Metroplex.
On the ice, the Bloomington Thunder are in Muskegon tonight before returning to the Coliseum for Saturday game against Madison and a Sunday afternoon match-up against Cedar Rapids.

St. Louis Cardinals general manager John Mozeliak says he’s “hopeful” to have a new contract for Yadier Molina before opening day but says a deal is “not done.” Fox Sports reports Molina and the Cardinals are finalizing a three-year deal worth between $55 million and $65 million. The Cardinals open the season Sunday night hosting the Cubs.
