St. Paul Lutheran Church in Pontiac is hosting its “End of Life Seminar” Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Event committee member Vickie Fitzgerald describes what people can expect from attending the event.

“We have a speaker who is coming from St. James Hospital. She’s an RN and her name is Carla Hannie. She is going to speak to us about the differences between palliative care and hospice and also about some of the legal matters that come with people who are dealing with end of life issues,” Fitzgerald said.

This is a free event and though RSVPs aren’t required, they are appreciated and can be made by calling the church at 842-2095.
