Bloomington Thunder hockey has named Mike Watt as its new head coach and Dan Jewell as general manager and associate coach. Both have been promoted within the organization as Watt has been an assistant for the last two seasons while Jewell has been on the coaching staff since 2014. Former Thunder head coach Dennis Williams was named head coach of the Everett Silvertips of the Western Hockey League under the same ownership group as the Thunder.
