OSF Saint James – John W. Albrecht Medical Center is welcoming Dr. Nitin Sharma to the center as its new general surgeon.

President Brad Solberg said Sharma will be a great addition to its staff.

“What Dr. Sharma is going to bring us is a greater breadth, in terms of the services. He’s able to do a wide range of general surgical procedures, many of them laparoscopically, which means minimally invasive techniques. We’re glad to have him on board. He plans to start seeing patients the second week in June,” Solberg said.
