OSF Saint James – John W. Albrecht Medical Center is welcoming Deacon David Steeples as its new pastoral care program manager.

After many years at St. James, Deacon George Wagner handed over the reins at the end of May to Steeples, and Community Relations Coordinator Pam Meiner explains a little bit of Steeples’ background before arriving in Pontiac.

“We’re very happy to welcome Deacon David Steeples, or Deacon Dave, as we call him. He’s new to OSF Saint James in Pontiac, but he’s not new to OSF HealthCare. He was the pastoral care program manager at OSF St. Mary in Galesburg for over ten years, so he’s an experienced deacon, a very warm and compassionate outgoing person, so we’re thrilled to have him start here, meet our patients and their family members and our fellow mission partners and get started,” Meiner said.
