The Livingston County Board met Thursday evening and approved a resolution to help fund a new STEM school program.

Chairman Bob Young explains.

“We got a resolution from the Greater Livingston County Economic Development to help fund a STEM program, which is science, technology, engineering and math, at the Career Center, and that’s what a lot of these manufacturers tell us we need and that’s what they’re looking for in students graduating and applying for jobs. So, we hope it helps keep some of our young people here in the county,” Young said.
