The 141st annual Fairbury Fair ended Sunday, with many people sharing memories of fairs past.
Sarah and Jared Bellot were born and raised in Fairbury and had great memories of earlier fairs, like enjoying harness races and selling programs, and now that they’re adults, they see the fair differently.
“It’s like a reunion in itself (when we come out here),” Sarah said, with her brother adding that the fair, to him is “Just coming back and seeing people.”
“I’ve been born and raised around racing, so I go to the races every time,” she said.
