The Meadows Communities in rural Chenoa is holding a wine tasting and dance lesson fundraiser at the Lexington Community Center Saturday, beginning at 11 a.m.

Volunteer and Development Coordinator Darla Heath said this fundraiser, with the help of Christo’s in Lexington and the Young Dance Swill make a fun, well-rounded day.

“We’re really delighted to partner with Christo’s and Young Dance for our first wine tasting and dance we’re going to be holding in Lexington. So, it’s a little different that we’re doing a fundraising event off campus, but we want to meet the people of Lexington and give them a really great experience. When the idea came about, we really thought this was just really a good pairing with the three of us to provide something fun and elegant in Lexington,” Heath said.
