The Social Security Administration handles many parts of life, from Medicare to social security benefits to retirement, and they’ve streamlined their website to make it easier to get that information.
Jack Myers with the offices in Springfield said they’ve listened to feedback from the public to make the site more simple and safe for use.
“We make as many things as we can available. Of course, safety and security is always a number one concern when making things available online, so we don’t release anything until we’re confident that it’s a secure and safe application to use online. You can feel confident if you’re at socialsecurity.gov that you are at a secure website and you can go ahead and conduct that business with us,” Myers said.
