Another election season is headed our way, and petition packets will be available for the March 20, 2018 primary beginning Friday.
According to a press release from County Clerk Kristy Masching, the first day petitions may be circulated is Tuesday, September 5, as her office will be closed on the fourth for Labor Day. Petitions may be obtained through December 4.
County offices to appear on the ballot include county board offices, county clerk, sheriff and treasurer, as well as precinct committeemen. Signature requirements will be included in the packet.
The first date petitions may be filed in the Clerk’s office is November 27, with the deadline December 4.
