The Children’s Advocacy Center is holding a November program called “Darkness to Light,” created to help adults talk about child safety.

Executive director Judy Brucker explains what will happen during the program.

“It’s a two and a half hour training session where adults who are interested in the topic can join us and we really use that time to talk about the issue of child abuse and what to do as an adult if you find yourself in a position where you’re concerned with a child or if some disclosure is made to you,” Brucker said.

The event is planned for November 15. To reserve your spot for the program, call 309-888-5656.
