Good Samaritan – Pontiac Rehab and Healthcare is holding its grand opening Saturday from noon to 4 at its new facility on Ewing Drive in Pontiac.

Administrator Kim Wittenberg said even though they’ve been at the new site for awhile, they’ve all planned many activities for the day, giving the public a chance to come out and see what the new facility has to offer.

“We’ve got lots of goodies coming up. Route 66 Kites has invited their group 180 Go Kite team and they will be doing synchronized kite flying. We’re also going to do a candy drop from the kites from the kites at 1 and 3. We have a player grand piano in our foyer, which we will have going. We have bounce houses. One of our resident’s family is bringing his model T car. We have food by our wonderful chef, Patty. We have Silver Strings, who is going to perform out there from 1 to 4,” Wittenberg said.

Good Samaritan – Pontiac is located at 1225 S. Ewing Drive, just south of OSF Saint James – John W. Albrecht Medical Center.
