After the departure of longtime Boys and Girls Club of Livingston County Director Gary Beckman, the club board worked to find a new director, naming Jody Martin as the new interim.

Martin is an Illinois native, currently living in Pontiac, and plays a dual role with the Boys and Girls Club of America.

“What I do, as far as Boys and Girls Clubs of America, is try to align the clubs to going in the same direction and setting that foundation. Fortunately, I get to do that at two clubs (Pontiac and Prairie Central) instead of one this time,” Martin said.

The club is located at 1303 E. Indiana Avenue in Pontiac.
