The second installment of property taxes are due Monday, and Livingston County Treasurer Barb Sear explains the many ways to get it done.

“Payments can be made in our office at the old courthouse. We are open until 4:30 Monday through Friday. There is a drop box next to the south door for after hours or weekend payments. They can go to any bank in the county and make their payment, as long as they have their tax bill stub, or they can pay online. The bank that processes the online payment will charge a fee, and that’s not a fee we collect, it’s the bank processing fee. After Monday, all payments need to be made in our office at the courthouse. The banks will not take payments any longer,” Sear said.
