The United Way of Livingston County not only kicks off its fundraising season Tuesday, October 3, but they are also unveiling a new fundraising program that takes place throughout the county.

Executive Director Deb Howard explained that this program is a partnership between them, WJEZ and several restaurants.

“Giving Tuesday is the day you’re supposed to give to your favorite charity and of course United Way would love to be your favorite charity. So, we decided we’re going to do the Nine Tuesdays of Giving and we’re going to start right away on October 3. We’d love to invite you all out to DeLongs to eat from 5:30 to 6:30 and some of those proceeds will go to the United Way and we’re very excited about this program,” Howard said.
