The Pontiac Public Library is holding its annual open house from 5 to 7 on Thursday
Director Kristen Holzhauer said this year, they will be featuring improvements made to the building, among other activities.
“We set aside, annual, some very special time to recognize our donors and we open up our fall open house and our annual appreciation night. The library will be decorated for fall and we’ll be featuring all the renovations that have been done on the library this year and those are on the exterior of the building. Also paired with that is a fundraiser for us this year. Local artist joanE Lipinski has offered up mobiles that are made of eggshells and tissue paper. They are quite unique and quite beautiful. They depict classic literature quotes,” Holzhauer said.
The library is located at 211 E. Madison Street.
