The Pontiac Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for the new location of Pontiac Community Art Center Tuesday morning.
Member John Fitzgerald shared his excitement about the new gallery space.
“This is just a really great thing. We rented before and now we own this building, so we can do everything long term. A lot of planning has gone into it. We are going to expand considerably. We still have the gallery. We have studio space upstairs. We’re going to put a pottery studio in the back. We welcome any artist in the community to stop on in and become a part of it,” Fitzgerald said.
The new gallery is located at 209 W. Madison Street in Pontiac.
