Reports came in about a domestic altercation shortly before 2 a.m. Wednesday morning outside of the Pontiac Public Library.
According to Pontiac Police Chief Jim Woolford, after callers said a man and woman were seen and heard fighting on the north side of the library, officers responded and found several pieces of clothing, a broken baseball bat and broken window.
Woolford said they are currently following up on leads to this case, and the investigation continues.
The library wasn’t able to open until 1 p.m. on Wednesday because of the broken window.
