The Pontiac Parks and Recreation Department is holding a Trunk or Treat event at the rec center parking lot Saturday from 6 to 7, followed by the showing of “Hotel Transylvania.”

Executive Director Taylor Baxter said he is looking forward to this evening and believes others will too.

“The movie is going to be starting at 7:30, but before that, we’re going to do a trunk or treat. We’re inviting all the people we’ve had – touch a truck and some other agencies in town and we’ve gotten a great response of people that really want to come out and see the kids and hand out candy to them. The trunk or treat is going to be from 6 to 7 and the movie, ‘Hotel Transylvania’ will be at 7:30. It’s just $3 a person to come watch the movie,” Baxter said.

The rec center is located at 900 North Elm Street in Pontiac.
