Former Pontiac Indian Jacob Curry has announced his commitment to UNC-Greensboro for baseball. Curry is in his second season at Southeastern Community College.
The Bears used two defensive touchdowns, both from rookie safety Eddie Jackson, to beat the Carolina Panthers 17-3. Jackson ran a fumble recovery 75 yards on the game’s first possession then returned an interception 76 yards for a score early in the second quarter. Jackson became the first NFL player to score multiple defensive touchdowns of 75 yards or more in a game. The Bears improve to 3-4. They will visit the Saints on Sunday.
