The Pontiac Public Library will be holding a Lunch and a Movie Saturday from 11 to 1, and they’ve decided to change up the program a bit.
Director Kristin Holzhauer said they will be showing two movies that day to keep up with the “coming back for seconds” idea when it comes to Thanksgiving meals.
“Lunch and Movies at the library are always fun events, and this one in particular, I’m excited about. We’re going to get everybody ready to take on those extra helpings of Thanksgiving goodies. Normally, we only show one movie at our Lunch and a Move, but this month, in preparation for Thanksgiving, we’re going to do a double feature. We’re going to show you “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” and the movie “Free Birds.” So, you can pack a sack lunch and come join us for a double helping of Thanksgiving fun,” Holzhauer said.
The library is located at 211 East Madison Street in Pontiac.
