The Vermillion Players will be bringing you “The Best Christmas Ever” beginning Thursday at the Eagle Performing Arts and Conference Center in Pontiac.

Writer and director Anita Nangle gave some insight about the musical.

“The show is basically set around a family, mom, dad and two kids. Mom has just finished nursing school. And she has decided that since she’s been so busy the past couple years, she’s going to make this the best Christmas ever for her family and in doing that, she runs herself ragged and cuts out everybody from her life in order to pull them together in the end. That’s her goal is to make the family the most important thing about Christmas,” Nangle said.

The show runs Thursday through Sunday then again December 7-10. For more information or to purchase tickets, contact the Eagle Box Office at 844-1187.
