Every year, Pontiac Fire Chief Scott Runyon celebrates the holidays with a festive light show at his home on Turtle Drive in Pontiac and it is currently up and running for the enjoyment of the public.

Runyon said people can come out in the evenings, park and tune in to 91.1 for the show, which is synched to the music, and enjoy the work he and his family have put in.

“Everybody’s got to have a hobby and I guess this is mine. So, we put out a few lights, we out some music to it and kind of make it dance a little bit. My goal is just to make people smile. Make them happy. If I get one that’s happy with it, I’m happy with the year. Come out, take a look at it. There’s five songs you can sit and listen to. We get people every night that come out and sit and watch it and I hope they enjoy it. I also try to do some stuff that’s kind of amusing,” Runyon said.

Runyon said the light show should be up until the week after New Year’s.
