Here at Radio Pontiac, 2017 was proclaimed as the “Year of Giving,” and staff didn’t realize just how much they, with the help of listeners and sponsors, were able to make happen.

From remotes to the Fun Friday Patrol; collecting items for foster kids or fur babies to the Countdown to Giving Tuesday Tour; high school sports to car shows and trivia nights, the station and staff were all over the county, mingling with listeners and businesses in the community.

Our very own Cat says it was quite a year for the station, and 2018 will top it.

“What does that mean for 2018? It means we’re going to do some of the same things we did this year. We’re just going to make it better,” Cat said.
