The Fairbury Oddfellows are holding a soup and sandwich supper Friday from 5 to 7 at 122 ½ West Locust Street in Fairbury.

Conductor Steve Metts said this is a fundraiser with proceeds going to the Fairbury Woman’s Club.

“We’re going to use the proceeds to benefit the Woman’s Club Scholastic Literacy Program, in which they give out books to the Prairie Central School District,” Metts said.

Tickets are being sold at the door for the meal.
